Kobolds. The very word conjures up visions of pitiful rat-tailed creatures groveling to the tougher humanoids, or cunning and evasive trap makers, but easy sport. Kobolds lack in size, strength, power, wealth, and tactics. They are constantly picked on, abused, and even enslaved by other races. They are ridiculed and overlooked. But deep within any being is a tiny spark; a spark that can, if properly tended to, flare up into an inner fire propelling that individual to greatness. From the most unlikely places, heroes and villains can emerge, forged by extraordinary experiences.
